Paying for Claude with Monero (XMR)

You order in USD; the invoice quotes an exact XMR amount locked for the invoice window. Monero confirmations run ~2 minutes per block and processors typically want ~10 confirmations, so plan for 20–30 minutes between sending and the order flipping to paid. The order page polls automatically the whole way.

Send the exact quoted amount. Monero wallets handle fees sanely by default (fees are added on top, not deducted), so underpayment is rarer with XMR than with exchange withdrawals of other coins — but if you're sending from an exchange, check its withdrawal fee handling anyway. An underpaid invoice stays open for topping up; we email the remainder.

XMR hides the payment trail: amounts, sender and receiver aren't publicly linkable on-chain, unlike Bitcoin, where anyone who knows your address can see the payment. If you don't want your wallet history connected to an AI subscription, Monero is the right coin for this purchase.

What it can't do is make the *subscription* anonymous: you still redeem the code on a Claude account, and that account has an email address and is subject to Anthropic's terms and logging like any other.
