How private is a crypto-paid Claude subscription?

• No bank or card trail. The purchase never touches your bank statement, card issuer, or credit profile — relevant anywhere finance apps mine transaction data.
• No payment identity on file. Anthropic has no card of yours; we have no card of yours. There's nothing to leak from a payment-methods database because none exists.
• No KYC with us. We ask for an email address for delivery — that's the entire identity requirement. Use a dedicated address if you prefer.
• Coin-level privacy is your choice. BTC and ETH payments are publicly visible on-chain (pseudonymous, but linkable); Monero hides the trail itself.

We see: your email, the plan you bought, and NOWPayments' record that an invoice was paid (coin and amount). Payment events are kept for dispute protection. We never see your Claude conversations, account, or password — activation happens entirely on your side.

NOWPayments sees: the on-chain transaction and an order reference, as any payment processor does.

Anthropic sees: a normal account redeeming an official code. Your use of Claude is governed by their privacy policy exactly as if you'd paid by card — a crypto payment doesn't change what happens inside claude.ai.

A crypto payment makes the *transaction* private, not the *service*. Your Claude account still has an email; your conversations still live under Anthropic's terms; and prepaid months don't exempt anyone from their usage policies. Nobody can sell you an 'anonymous Claude account' — what's actually on offer, from us or anyone, is a subscription with no financial identity attached.

For most people that's exactly the point: the AI tools you pay for are nobody's business but yours. If that's the goal, pay in XMR, use a clean email, and you've achieved everything the system allows.
